GARMENT DETAILS

This spectacular costume features a cropped sleeveless top with an attached cape. Created from a total of 71 fabric pieces, this outfit is first sewn by hand before being machine stitched for durability. The cape and matching top are a beautiful holographic gold with black mesh. The top is tight fitting but with a 4 way stretch to allow complete movement and comfort. The stunning cape is floor length. Captivate your audience in this fabulous costume!

HANDLING & SHIPPING

We offer worldwide shipping through a variety of shipping services. Standard shipping is free for Germany on orders above 75€. Worldwide, it's free on orders above 300€. For orders below, the price is 10€ for Europe and 16€ for the rest of the world. Express shipping rates are categorised by country and zone. Shipping costs will be automatically assigned to your order at the checkout and are dependent on the shipping country specified.

Handling Time:
Handling time is excluded from the shipping times, and is currently set to 5-10 business days for made to order items. Bigger orders may take longer time to complete. For express handling, please select the option best suitable for your needs in the dropdown menu on the item page. A ā€œneeded by dateā€ mentioned as a note with the order is greatly appreciated.Ā If we are unable toĀ handle your express order, we will notify you by email within 24 hours.
Orders without upgrades will be handled within the above given timeframe.

Shipping Restrictions:Ā 
Due to international import laws, which vary by country, there are restrictions in importing various items. Please be aware of these restrictions when placing your order.

Please note that in certain areas only a limited range of delivery services is available. We cannot be held responsible for delays as a result of remote delivery locations or adverse weather conditions.

Delivery Addresses:
When placing your order, please ensure that all the details concerning the billing and shipping details are correct, as we are unable to redirect packages once the courier has processed an order.

PO Boxes
Unfortunately, as all shipments require a signature upon delivery, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. DHL Packstation within Germany is possible.Ā 

We do not deliver to forwarding addresses, which includes Aramex addresses.

Taxes and Duties:
VAT/GST is a government sales tax, which differs from country to country. All orders dispatched to addresses within the EU will be charged inclusive of German VAT, with no extra import charges. For addresses outside of the EU, VAT/GST will be added by the customs at the point of entry. In some countries, extra import charges may apply. Local import duties and taxes are payable by the recipient upon delivery. Orders refused due to unpaid import charges will not be refunded.

We gladly accept returns within 14 days for EU and UK customers, as long as items are unworn and hangtags remain attached.

For customers outside the EU and UK, purchases are considered final due to international customs and handling procedures. Returns or refunds may only be accepted in the case of a confirmed production fault, shipping error, or at the seller’s discretion.

In case of non-delivery on which the order is sent back to the dispatcher, a resend fee of the shipping price will be requested.Ā

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We hope you are delighted with every order from Lena Quist.
If for any reason your purchase isn’t quite right, you have 14 days to return it for a refund or exchange — this applies to EU and UK customers only.
(For faulty items, please see the section below.)

To start a return, please notify us within 14 days of delivery.


Return Standards

  • All items must be returned new, unused, and with all Lena Quist tags attached.

  • Returns that arrive damaged, worn, soiled, or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

  • Customised and made-to-measure designs are not eligible for return or exchange due to their personalised nature.


Returns from Outside the EU & UK

Customers outside the EU and UK (including the United States) are not covered by EU or UK consumer return regulations.
All international sales are considered final, except in cases of a proven defect, shipping error, or at the seller’s discretion.

Orders that are refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid import duties or taxes are not eligible for refund.
All associated shipping, import, or return costs remain the responsibility of the buyer.


Faulty Items

Items are classified as faulty if they arrive damaged or develop a manufacturing fault within six months of purchase.
Damage caused by wear and tear, misuse, or cleaning not in accordance with the care label is not considered a fault.

Whenever possible, faulty items will be repaired or replaced. If this isn’t possible, we will issue a full refund.
Shipping costs will be refunded for items received in a faulty condition, or for orders cancelled before dispatch under applicable EU Distance Selling Regulations (EU/UK customers only).


Refunds

  • Refunds are made to the original payment method, less express shipping, international taxes, or import duties.

  • PayPal refunds appear immediately in your PayPal account. Credit card reimbursement times depend on your card issuer.

  • International customs duties and local VAT/GST (outside the EU/UK) remain the customer’s responsibility.
    You may be able to recover these fees directly through your local customs office.

Please note: Items returned without prior notice may not be accepted.
All return requests must go through the official Lena Quist return process.


How to Return an Item

  1. Email info@lenaquist.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and item details.

  2. Return the item securely packaged, with tracking and insurance.
    (The item remains your responsibility until it reaches our studio.)

  3. The item must reach us within 30 days of return approval — longer times may apply for international returns.

We will notify you once your return has been received and processed.
Please allow up to 5 business days from delivery for the refund to be completed.


Late Returns

Returns initiated after 14 days of delivery cannot be accepted.
Items must be received within 30 days of approval, except at the discretion of Lena Quist.


Exchanges

Items may be exchanged for another size at the customer’s return and shipping cost.


Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided they have not entered production or dispatch.

FAQ

My measurements are slightly different from your size chart, what size should I pick?
All garments are made from stretch material, so it's usually safe and recommended going with the smaller size rather than the bigger one.

How durable are the fabrics?
It depends on the fabric and type of performance the garments are used for. The mesh stays in great shape and does not rip easily. The holographics tend to retract a little less, but keep the sparkle throughout many types of performances, and lasts over a long period of time. The metallics are the most fragile, and are not suited for performances with a lot of friction directly on the area of the body where they are located.Ā

Can I borrow clothes for my photo shoot/video shoot/show?
If you have a professional team and a LOR/pull letter from a well-known magazine, you are very welcome to get in touch. For portfolio photo shoots, video shoots or one-off shows taking place in the EU, some designs are available for rent. Please send a message for a quote.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we currently ship within the EU, to the UK, and selected international destinations.Ā If your country does not appear at checkout, please contact us for confirmation.

Why are orders to the US not available right now?

Recent changes to US import regulations have made shipping for small independent designers increasingly complex and expensive.
We’re working on solutions to make international shipping fairer and more accessible again, and hope to reopen to US customers soon.

Can I return or exchange my order if I live outside the EU or UK?

Due to international customs procedures, orders shipped outside the EU and UK are final sale, unless a confirmed defect or shipping error has occurred, or at the seller’s discretion.
We always assess each case individually and will assist wherever possible.

What happens if I don’t pay import duties or refuse the parcel?

If an order is refused or returned to sender due to unpaid import duties or failed delivery attempts, we are unable to issue a refund.
All related return shipping and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Each garment is handmade to order in Berlin, Germany. Our current handling time is 5–10 business days before dispatch.
Please note that express shipping only applies to transit time, not production time.
If you need your order by a specific date, include a note with your order and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Are all designs made to order?

Yes. Every piece is handmade by Lena and her team in Germany.
We do not mass-produce or hold large stock. A few select pieces are available as ready-to-ship from our Vault collection.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided production has not started.
After that, cancellations are not possible as each garment is made to order.

Do you offer returns or exchanges for custom or made-to-measure designs?

Custom and made-to-measure designs are non-returnable due to their personalised nature.
If a production issue occurs, please contact us and we will do our best to offer a solution.

Do you offer free returns?

No, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Can I return a sale item?

Sale and discounted items may be returned only if stated in the promotion details.
Items purchased from the Vault are final sale unless proven faulty.

Do you ship DDP (Delivered Duties Paid)?

For most destinations, we currently ship DAP (Delivered At Place), which means import duties and taxes are billed to the recipient by the courier.
We are exploring DDP options for certain countries to make the process smoother.
