We offer worldwide shipping through a variety of shipping services. Standard shipping is free for Germany on orders above 50€. Worldwide, it's free on orders above 250€. For orders below, the price is 8€ for Europe and 16€ for the rest of the world. Express shipping rates are categorised by country and zone. Shipping costs will be automatically assigned to your order at the checkout and are dependent on the shipping country specified.
Handling Time:
Handling time is excluded from the shipping times, and is currently set to 5-10 business days for made to order items. Bigger orders may take longer time to complete. For express handling, please select the option best suitable for your needs in the dropdown menu on the item page. A “needed by date” mentioned as a note with the order is greatly appreciated. If we are unable to handle your express order, we will notify you by email within 24 hours.
Orders without upgrades will be handled within the above given timeframe.

Shipping Restrictions:
Due to international import laws, which vary by country, there are restrictions in importing various items. Please be aware of these restrictions when placing your order.
Please note that in certain areas only a limited range of delivery services is available. We cannot be held responsible for delays as a result of remote delivery locations or adverse weather conditions.
Delivery Addresses:
When placing your order, please ensure that all the details concerning the billing and shipping details are correct, as we are unable to redirect packages once the courier has processed an order.
PO Boxes
Unfortunately, as all shipments require a signature upon delivery, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. DHL Packstation within Germany is possible.
We do not deliver to forwarding addresses, which includes Aramex addresses.
Taxes and Duties:
VAT/GST is a government sales tax, which differs from country to country. All orders dispatched to addresses within the EU will be charged inclusive of German VAT, with no extra import charges. For addresses outside of the EU, VAT/GST will be added by the customs at the point of entry. In some countries, extra import charges may apply.
Returns:
Returns are accepted for 14 days for unworn garments with hangtags still attached. For further information, please view the Exchange & Refunds page under Policies.
Important Information:
In case of non-delivery on which the order is sent back to the dispatcher, a resend fee of the shipping price will be requested.
We hope that you are delighted with every order you receive from Lena Quist, but if you are not perfectly satisfied with your items, you have 14 days to return them to us for a refund or exchange. (Unless faulty, in which case please see special clause of our terms and conditions).
You must notify us if you wish to return any items from your order within 14 days from the day of delivery.
The information below includes details on returns standards, timescales, refunds, and issues arising from damaged or faulty items. If you require information on how to return an item, please see the relevant details at the bottom of the page.
Policy Details:
All items should be returned new, unused and with all Lena Quist tags still attached. Any items that are returned to us in a damaged, soiled or otherwise altered and less than perfect condition may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
The customer is responsible for the cost of the return.
Customised or made to measure designs are not eligible for a return due to their personalised nature.
Faulty Items:
Items are classified as faulty if they are received damaged or if a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase.
Damage due to wear and tear or as a result of invalid cleaning methods not depicted on the care label, are not considered faulty.
Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. If a faulty item cannot be repaired or replaced, we will offer a full refund.
Shipping costs will be refunded for items that are incidentally delivered in a damaged or in a faulty condition, and for orders cancelled before dispatch under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR’s).
Refunds:
All successfully returned items will be credited to the card used when placing the order, less any express shipping costs, international taxes or import duties incurred. For payments made by PayPal, refunds will be credited to your PayPal account and will be visible immediately. Reimbursement time to the credit card associated with your PayPal account depends on the company that issued the card.
As the responsibility for international customs duties and local VAT/GST (outside the EU) lie with the customer, Lena Quist is unable to refund any charges incurred upon delivery of the order. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.
Please note, items should not be returned to us without prior notice. All return requests should be submitted through the Lena Quist return process. Items returned to us without prior notification may not be refunded.
How To Return An Item:
- Email info@lenaquist.com with order number and item specification within 14 days of delivery to initiate the return.
- Send the item back, packed safely, with tracking information and insurance. Keep the tracking information safe. Please note that the order is your responsibility until it reaches our studio. A damaged or lost return may result in an unaccepted refund.
- The item must be returned to us within 30 days of return acceptance. (Longer times may be accepted for an international shipment.)
- You will be notified by email when your return has been received and processed. Please allow 5 business days from delivery to refund.
Late Returns:
Returns initiated after 14 days of delivery will not be accepted.
Items must be returned to us at our studio address within 30 days of initiated return. Returns received after this time will not be accepted. Exceptions may apply at the discretion of Lena Quist.
Returns From Outside The EU:
The 14-day return right is extended to our customers outside the EU. Please be aware that international shipping may be expensive and/or take a long time.
Exchanges:
Items may be exchanged for another size at the return and shipping cost of the customer.
Cancellations:
An order may be cancelled within 24 hours after placement.
My measurements are slightly different from your size chart, what size should I pick?
All garments are made from stretch material, so it's usually safe and recommended going with the smaller size rather than the bigger one.
How long does it take until my order is ready to dispatch?
Our current handling time is 5-10 business days for made to order items. For express handling, please select your preferred option in the dropdown menu on the product page. If you need it by a certain date, type it in as a message with the order. Express shipping at checkout only covers the transit, the handling time still applies.
How are the designs made?
All designs are handmade by Lena herself and her team, in Germany. Every garment is made to order to avoid unnecessary waste. We do not keep stock, except for a few ready to ship designs.
Where do the orders ship from?
All orders ship from Berlin, Germany.
Do you offer exchanges and returns?
You may return or exchange your order of standard sized items within 14 days of the arrival date as long as it's in new and unworn condition. Custom orders and made to measure items are non-returnable.
Do you offer free returns?
Unfortunately not.
How durable are the fabrics?
It depends on the fabric and type of performance the garments are used for. The mesh stays in great shape and does not rip easily. The holographics tend to retract a little less, but keep the sparkle throughout many types of performances, and lasts over a long period of time. The metallics are the most fragile, and are not suited for performances with a lot of friction directly on the area of the body where they are located.
Do you offer sponsorships or collaboration discounts?
Not at this point.
Can I borrow clothes for my photo shoot?
If you have a professional team and a LOR/pull letter from a well-known magazine, you are very welcome to get in touch.
For portfolio photo shoots taking place in the EU some designs are available for rent. Please send a message for a quote.
Can I borrow clothes for my video shoot?
For video shoots; fashion, circus, dance or music, the garments can be rented. No loans at this point.
Can I borrow clothes for my event or show?
Unfortunately not, but for a one time performance in the EU where the garment is not at risk of being damaged, rental of a garment can be arranged.
Do you have sales?
Yes, we have a shop-wide sale once a year, typically in the spring or early summer. Newsletter subscribers may get secret discount codes on top of access to the VIP shop with exclusive designs.
