Garment Care

A garment cared for the right way can last for a long time. Please follow these simple steps to take the best care of your Lena Quist design.

Holographics & Metallics:

A garment made from a nylon/spandex mix with a top coating is best stored hanging on a hanger that doesn’t leave marks. Do not keep folded for longer periods of time.

Instead of washing after each use try to air the garment, or use a fabric refreshing spray to rid of odours. This will make the shininess of the garment last longer.

When washing, gently wash the garment by hand inside out in lukewarm water and hang dry. Do not use softener or a detergent containing chlorine as this might cause damage to the top coating.

Do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean.

Regular Spandex:

To keep the colours of your spandex garment vibrant for as long as possible, while also making a conscious decision for the environment, avoid washing after every use. Opt for airing, or using a fabric refreshing spray for synthetic materials. 

When washing, turn the garment inside out and wash in machine at 30° C. Do not use softener or a detergent containing chlorine.

Do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean as this may damage the fibers and cause the garment to age prematurely.
