The one thing I can't stand, less than idiot questions, are idiot comments. Often the questions can be laughed at, like this classic one; "Are these spandex pants made of real leather?" Yeah, sure, whatever you say :P Haha, moron....

But comments... I don't care if you don't like my designs, but don't write rude comments about the models... especially not about their weight. They've been hired cos I think they have a great look. And they're healthy. End of discussion. Many of my models are also my personal friends and it pisses me of when someone is rude to them.

I don't understand why it's ok to comment on a skinny person's look, but not to say to a fat chick "Oh gosh... you really need a diet!" No... then you should be proud of your size. Seriously!? I don't buy this "use real wimen" in your campaigns, models are actually real wimen as well if someone's missed it... We all look different and of course it's the one who looks like most people wanna look like that will get harassed for it. How come it's so wrong to have that look that's seen as the ideal of the society?

I make clothes most suitable for skinny people. (Which doesn't mean I don't like larger people, as I guess some people will read this blog post that way...) I am a small girl myself - even though I don't have a model body at all - and I have problems finding clothes that fits me in the stores, so I wanna make clothes for people like me. Everyone's got a "Big is Beautiful" line and as the normal sizes in the stores are getting bigger - cos people are getting bigger, the small girls are forgotten. "Everything looks great on them anyway." Clothes 2 sizes too big doesn't look good... Especially not if they're made in spandex...

But then again; this my opinion. And that's what I'm using this blog for; posting MY opinion on things. Not necessarely for you to agree.

According to me, this lady; Alice Dellal, is the hottest women in fashion with a perfect body. Skinny, but still with some hips and boobs.

Can I please just get one night's sleep without waking up several times a night with anxiety over something?? Trial, money, orders I haven't had the time to finish or send, ex-boyfriend, new collection.... bleh... give me a break...

Candy for breakfast before it's time to run some errands and then get down to business with today's sewing. Got some cathing up to do and some customers waiting for their orders to arrive. I hate keeping people waiting...

Yesterday I had a day off. Haven't had that in weeks... It was really nice seeing two of my sisters and my dad. Just hanging out a day in Helsingör, Denmark. Strolling around and having dinner out. I haven't even had dinner for days, so it was good.

This was a boring post, but I feel a bit on the boring side today :P

But anyway: this is my inspiration for today; Madisyn Ritland as Madonna (from 2008). Simply adorable! I wanna look like that and I want those rhinestone fake Chanel earrings, the bag and the lace tights!

Yaay! I survived yesterday in court! And it was very much indeed like my lawyer said; It's gonna hurt a little bit, for a nano second, but it's not gonna kill you, and then when it's over you're gonna realize it wasn't as painful you thought it was gonna be. "Ok, like getting a piercing?" I can't remember that feeling excatly, but yes, like getting a piercing. Then he laughed. Haha, I've got a cool lawyer :)

Now I just have to wait two weeks for the verdict. After that the losing side got 3 weeks to appeal. Let's sure hope we're not the losing side... The judge was really moody, so can't say anything about how it went... hopefully she saw them as the bad guys they are, but you never know...Right now I'm just glad this part is over... so I can focus on what's really important: the release of the collection today!!

I've been waiting for this day and I hope you're all gonna like what you see. I know the price range is too high for many of you, but I've been told so many times I need to value my time much better than I do and think about the time I actually put down in every garment. Which means not only the making of one piece of it when getting an order, but the time it took to sketch it, make the pattern, sew the prototype, shoot it, promote it, sell it, ship it. When you think about it like that, and the fact that it is one person doing all of those steps; the price is way too low...

Haha, btw; What do you think about these glasses I got last night from Marita, for my weird glasses collection? Aren't they so ugly they're actually kinda cool? I think they can work with the pink hair!

I'm too nervous to sleep and I should probably be doing some more background reading for tomorrow rather than writing this blog post... but at the same time I don't know what good it would do. There's nothing more for me to do. I just need to remember what happened 3 years ago, and if I haven't thought about it already I will probably not remember it in the middle of the night either...

I'm scared, but at least now I don't need to go there all by myself. Thank god I've found the best lawyer in the world. He knows I can't afford him, but he's doing it anyway. I can't believe I'm that lucky. So after the collection is released, when I'm rich and famous (oh god, that has never felt so far away as tonight...) I will defo do my best to at least pay him some.

In 24 hours the worst day of my life will be over. If I'm really lucky it's over 12 hours from now. Right now I'm just praying my nerves won't get the best of me...

I have 3 really hard days in front of me right now and I'm scared to death... The trial is supposed to take place on Wednesday and even though I can't wait for this to be over, I know whoever wins will appeal the verdict, so it's not gonna be over in a very long time... I've done nothing wrong, except from hiring the wrong idiot-company to make my website (the old one, not this one)... back then it wasn't known they sue you when you want out if you don't pay them more money... Screw you! I won't pay. I will take this to the Supreme Court if necessary.

Most of all I just want this to be over so I can focus on the one important thing in my life right now; World domination! Ok, maybe not... let's stick with taking my brand to the next level. One step at the time :) I'm looking for new shops and resellers so if anyone can help me out with that I would be so grateful! Send me suggestions or visit your fave shop and tell them about my brand. I've got preview booklets to send out if needed.

Bad hangover doesn't even begin to cover how I feel today... bleh... the meeting about my webshop turned into dinner - turned into party - turned into going out clubbing - turned into a way too drunk Lena going to her ex instead of home to her own place. Good job! Hmm... but fuck it, I'm only human :)

Going food shopping on my way home was quite hilarious though as I turned pretty much everyone's head in my lace body and tiny studded hotpants matched with high patent leather wedges, huge sunglasses and the hair from hell :P Not the typical Sunday food shopping look :) Wish I had a pic so I could show you, haha!

But now on to the big news; we've got a release date for my webshop! November 27! And it's gonna be fierce! Sleak black with a touch of luxury. I'm loving it! You will be able to shop straight from this website and use Paypal, Visa and Mastercard. And you'll be able to choose if you wanna shop by size or get your garment customized after personal measurements. I'm so excited! 3 more months and then no more shitty Etsy shop! I hate it. Feels so unprofessional to use Etsy... Sorry, I know some of you like it, but I just really don't. I think it's good for those who's got design as a hobby, but for me it's not working... everyone's placing the orders by e-mail anyway, so better having a beautiful shop here on the website!

Good morning! Jeeez, I've been sleeping for many hours this week. Let me guess it has something to do with the non-sleeping weekend...

I realized when I woke up today how good it is for me to do this blogging every day. I need a reminder that my life is less than ordinary, coz sometimes I feel a little bit bored and don't remember how fucking privileged I actually am. What did I do yesterday? Hmm... I made a dress for a rather famous glamour model and afterwards I went to a fancy (?) vernissage and had lots of free champagne. What am I doing today? A pair of custom leather-look leggings for a drummer in a rockband and I'm gonna keep working on the ring attire to fab wrestler Kasey Owens. Tomorrow I've got meetings about my new webshop and the press release of the new collection.

Looking through some of my old friends updates on Facebook can also be a rather good reminder. Haha, I'm so mean! But hey, seriously, some people seem to have really boring lives. But I guess it's depending on what you want from life... I hate kids, would never want a dog (unless it's a pug, I love pugs!) and cannot see myself living in a smalltown where nothing ever happens.

I want drama, wild parties and beautiful people!

I just got back from the Lovisa Burfitt vernissage and how much I love what she's doing doesn't matter right now, coz there's only one way to describe it; LAME! If I was supposed to be impressed I wasn't. Well... we managed to get drunk on all the free champagne and it's always nice hanging out with Marita and I saw some old friends. But the over all experience was just shitty music, up-tight people and what the fuck was that "art" all about!? Nah... Can someone please impress me!? PLEASE!?

Now I set my hope to the photography exhibition on Saturday, but I don't have any high thoughts of that.. I've already seen Markus pieces and they're extraordinary of course (what else could you expect!?) but I doubt there will be anyone else stepping up to that level...

Now I'm done bitchin' for tonight :)

Some days I just suck at doing what I'm supposed to be doing... did I make the dress yesterday? No.... it was more fun working on the spring/summer collection and reading Vogue. I need to do those things as well and the dress is almost finished now, so she will have it on time for the party tomorrow. No biggie..

Last night; also instead of staying at home by the sewing machine, Gothic Airways designer Marita and I went to the Monki Magazine release party (?). Kinda lame, that's all I have to say about that... hope tonights vernissage at Inkonst for the Lovisa Burfitt exhibition will be better. She's simply awesome, one of few swedish designers I actually like. So if you're in Malmö during the fall be sure to check this out!
